The Edgemere Diner

One diner that we loved going to was the Edgemere Diner in Shrewsbury, MA. Sadly, it's currently closed. We were shocked by its seemingly sudden closing, but those who have been following diner history longer than us were not. According to Roadside Online, the city of Shrewsbury owns the diner and only allows people a two year lease on this property. This leads to frequent turnover in the property and long stretches of closed time in between.

I really hope that the city will change its policy and not risk letting a great diner go to waste.
